The Sewing Machine Skills Lab is a hands-on sewing workshop for beginners who want more practice before moving into sewing projects and garment construction.
You'll practice the fundamental techniques that every sewist needs, including sewing straight seams, turning corners, sewing curves, maintaining consistent seam allowances, adjusting stitch length, and working with different fabrics.
This class is especially helpful if you have a sewing machine at home but still don't feel comfortable using it.

This class is recommended for students who have completed Getting to Know Your Sewing Machine — Part 1 or have equivalent beginner sewing experience.
