It wasn’t planned, but here we are. My children say, “Mom, you started with a piece of lint not thread, but lint.” Like many other founders, CJ Sewing was created because as a jobless single mother, I needed income. Although I had many skills, none of them seemed appealing to the job market. So in December of 2012, I started CJ Sewing in my living room. 15 years later we are still here! My business is sustained by three (3) core principles: people and relationships are important, perform each project with excellence, and when errors occur own my mistakes.
